MD, DMSc, Head of Neurosurgical Department of the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia.
In 2005, he graduated from the S.M. Kirov Russian Military Medical Academy with specialty “general medicine”, and in 2005 he completed an internship in general surgery there. In 2007-2009, he studied in residency at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine specializing in “neurosurgery”, and in 2009-2012 – in postgraduate studies at the department of Neurosurgery and Neuro-Resuscitation of the A.I. Evdokimov Moscow State Medical and Dental University.
In 2012 he defended his PhD thesis on “Microsurgery of aneurysms of the anterior cerebral and anterior connective arteries in the acute period of hemorrhage”, in 2023 he presented doctoral thesis on “Surgical treatment of distal brain aneurysms”.
He takes an active part in preparing and writing monographs and manuals on vascular neurosurgery.
Since 2017 he is a member of the American Society of Neurosurgeons (AANS) and the European Association of Neurosurgeons (EANS). His practical interests include aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations of the brain, brain tumors, diseases of spine and spinal cord. Research interests include vascular neurosurgery.
